The concept for my travel site was to feel like a personal look into another's travel journal. I rewrote my written diary of my travels for the site as well as my photo album and combined them on the pages of the site. Text and images are intertwined throughout so that even if you don't read the site, the images alone will take you to Italy. This was a fun project and a nice way to share my travels with friends and family.

The site was entered in a website scrapbook contest for the tour company, Rick Steves' Europe Through the Back Door. I am planning on reuniting with my former guide and some tour mates for another tour adventure in 2010. My former guide put the tour together; it represents the areas he grew up in. The tour is called Heart of Belgium & Holland in 11 Days.
